Introducing Organic wool, Handwoven in Kutch using local wool "desi oon" that is cruelty free and organic. This is our experimental initiative with the craft communities in Kutch to rejuvenate such local economies. Kutch with its large sheep and camel population always had a ready supply of wool. The men and women of herding families spun wool into yarn and hand it over to the weavers. We are working towards helping sheep headers, spinners, weavers and dyers to revive the wool economy. We hope our consumers are open to experiment with this indigenous wool to promote and preserve these local ecosystems.
A boxy silhouette and lined using Mul cotton to help you against the rough texture of this handmade wool. Hand dyed using natural indigo and hand embroidered by our studio artisans.
